Visakhapatnam: After attaining Autonomous Status from the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), GITAM, Deemed to be University, made a vast effort to revamp its UG, PG programs with a concept to offer greater enterprise-oriented and society-massive programs. The University’s 16th Academic Council Meeting, which was held on Thursday, under the chairmanship of In-Charge Vice-Chancellor Prof K Sivaramakrishnan, authorized eleven new certificate programs and new B Tech and LLM programs to be implemented from the 2019-20 academic year.

While addressing the council member, Prof K Sivaramakrishnan stated that great schooling is the best way to develop. The college is giving precedence to perform reforms, as in keeping with the industry’s desires. He cited that the college is focusing on world scores with coaching and extensive effect studies activities.
New certificate guides
The University Academic Council has permitted new Certificate Courses in Behavioural Economics, Human Performance Enhancement and lifestyles Skills, Big Data, Blockchain Technology, Deep Learning, Drug Regulatory Affairs, Industrial Safety, Tribal Laws, Forensic Law, Legal Regulations of Economic Enterprises/Capital & Financial Markets, International Comparative Environmental Law, Advanced Legal Drafting to begin from 2019-20 academic yr.

New B Tech and LL M programs
The University Academic Council has accepted the new B Tech program “Computer Science and Business Systems” in collaboration with the main IT agency, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), effective from the 2019-20 admitted batch. The University In-Charge Vice-Chancellor is aware that offering an industry-designed program is the first of its kind in Andhra Pradesh. The Academic Council has additionally accepted the brand new PG programs LL.M in IPR & Cyber Law, LL.M in Corporate Law, effective from the 2019-20 academic year.
